Wade Martin - President
Founded Martin Landscape in 2004. Born and raised in Beaufort, Wade has built the company’s foundation by being involved in every facet of landscaping for nearly 15 years. His reputation over the years has garnered the trust that customers can depend on. Wade has been married to his wife Erin for nearly six years and they have two young sons, Rylen and Dalten.
Shannon Lindsay - President
Joined the team January 2011 as an owner with Wade. Shannon is a long-time Beaufort resident and South Carolina native who brings a vast knowledge of the landscape industry to the company. His 30-year career has allowed him the opportunity to manage landscape construction projects ranging from the development of large, luxury resorts to homes, schools, and businesses. His knowledge of irrigation and installation combined with his passion for the industry has already proven that this transition will be an exciting one for our valued clients and our staff. Shannon and his wife, Anne have two boys and live on Lady’s Island. Please join us in welcoming Shannon.
Mitch Sherman (Installation Manager)
Provides a vast knowledge of landscape installation having been a heavy and small equipment operator for over 20 years. Mitch attended Hutchinson Community Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas. For several years Mitch was a part of the Operators Engineer Union. Mitch is responsible for carrying out the landscape installation duties on a daily basis. From organizing the crews, to setting the initial grades of our properties and laying out all plant material and organizing final landscape plans.
Tripp Bafile (Account Manager)
Tripp started with us in August of 2010 after working 15 years on golf courses in both South Carolina and North Carolina. He grew up in Moncks Corner and has an associate’s degree in agronomy from Horry Georgetown Technical College. His turf experience includes working on public, private, and resort golf courses with managing turf up to the level of USGA tournament standards, having worked at Pinehurst Resort for the playing of the 2005 US Open Championship. Tripp has been in Beaufort for four years now and loves the Lowcountry lifestyle. Tripp is the proud father of one son, Andy, who is his pride and joy. We are happy to have Tripp as a member of our team at Martin & Lindsay Landscape know we will benefit from his expertise.
Justin Martin (Irrigation Manager)
Originally from Atlanta, Georgia., Justin attended Valdosta State where he studied Criminal Justice. Justin moved to Beaufort in 2003 with his wife Melanie and has been a part of the team since 2004. He is responsible for all irrigation operations at Martin Landscape, ranging from repairs to overseeing design and installation. Justin also specializes in our low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, from the initial design through installation.
