Our Staff

Wade Martin (Owner/President)

Founded Martin Landscape in 2004. Born and raised in Beaufort, Wade has built the company's foundation by being involved in every facet of landscaping for nearly 15 years. His reputation over the years has garnered the trust that customers can depend on. Wade has been married to his wife Erin for nearly six years and they have two young sons, Rylen and Dalten.

Erin Martin (Vice President)

In a joint effort, Erin has helped Wade in growing Martin Landscape LLC in its four years of existence. She was born and raised in Beaufort. Erin attended Armstrong Atlantic University in Savannah, Georgia studying Dental Hygiene. She would work for almost ten years in the dental industry as a dental hygienist in Beaufort. After its establishment, Erin has played a vital role as Vice President for Martin Landscape. On a daily basis Erin is responsible for managing the company finances, and administrational duties.

Mitch Sherman (Installation Manager)

Provides a vast knowledge of landscape installation with a 20-year background in small and heavy equipment operations. Mitch attended Hutchinson Community Junior College in Hutchinson, Kansas and for several years, was a member of the Operators Engineer Union. He is responsible for all phases of landscape installation, ranging from organizing crews to the final landscape plans.

Mark Puckett (Maintenance Manager)

A resident of Beaufort for nearly 15 years, Mark has been with Martin Landscape for three years. Mark attended Anderson College where he played baseball and eventually transferred to Clemson University. He is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ranging from organizing crews to meeting with customers to discuss upgrades and answer any service-related questions. Mark is also pesticide certified in South Carolina and is married to his wife Renee, with a young son, Chase.

Justin Martin (Irrigation Manager)

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia., Justin attended Valdosta State where he studied Criminal Justice. Justin moved to Beaufort in 2003 with his wife Melanie and has been a part of the team since 2004. He is responsible for all irrigation operations at Martin Landscape, ranging from repairs to overseeing design and installation. Justin also specializes in our low-voltage outdoor lighting systems, from the initial design through installation.

Matt Carli (Account Manager)

A resident of Beaufort for 17 years and a 2007 graduate of Lander University in Greenwood, S.C., earning a B.A. in History. Matt is responsible for managing nearly 250 maintenance accounts and making sure that all our customers receive the adequate service that they are paying for. He runs the CLIP software program, which aids in maintenance routes, tracking chemicals and routing of the chemical program, invoicing and visit optimization. Matt also writes the monthly newsletter, The Martin Landscape Messenger, sent to all customers, in addition to the monthly commercial account report.

Mike Lienhop (Chemical/Pesticide Manager)

Born and raised in Beaufort, Mike is married to his wife Vickie and they have two young daughters. Mike brings almost 20 years of experience in the landscape industry to Martin Landscape. Mike will spearhead our chemical application program, which is in the first stages of being kicked off and fully functioning. He will be responsible for applying fertilizers, fungicides, and insecticides to residential yards and commercial properties. He will also diagnose any problems that are occurring in the turf, and address questions that customers may have about their yards.

Alison Mealing (Marketing & Office Manager)

Alison is newly married and relocated to Beaufort from Myrtle Beach, SC, where she earned her M.A. in Management and Leadership while working for a management and consulting firm. She received her B.S. from UNC Greensboro in Business, Spanish & Tourism. As Marketing and Office Manager, she is responsible for all personnel and office activities, all company events, and customer retention and satisfaction.
